WHAT IS ASDA

The American Student Dental Association is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests and welfare of dental students. It introduces students to lifelong involvement in organized dentistry and provides services, information, education, representation, and advocacy.

HOUSTON ASDA

Houston ASDA is a student organization involved with any and all issues that dental students face during their time in school.

This is the entirely student-operated website and home of Houston ASDA.  Here you’ll find all of the latest news and information about the different things going on in your profession as well as different things going on locally within your chapter.

DISTRICT 10

District 10 is one of the 13 regional districts within the American Student Dental Association (ASDA), bringing together dental students and ASDA chapters across Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. The district includes Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry, Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Woody L. Hunt School of Dental Medicine, The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. District 10 serves as a bridge between local chapters and National ASDA, fostering collaboration, sharing resources, developing student leaders, and providing opportunities for students to engage in advocacy, professional development, and organized dentistry. Through district-wide events and initiatives, District 10 strengthens connections among its chapters and gives dental students a collective voice within the dental profession.

NATIONAL ASDA

National ASDA is the overarching organization that connects ASDA chapters and dental students across the United States and Puerto Rico. Through national leadership, advocacy, education, resources, and professional development, National ASDA represents the interests of dental students and prepares them for lifelong involvement in organized dentistry. The organization is governed by a Board of Trustees, with each trustee representing one of ASDA’s 13 districts.
